What if I see a stain on a diaper?Generally, stains are harmless and have no impact regarding the diapers absorption and sanitation. Some diapers may develop stains, but they are no cause for alarm, as they are simply a visual imperfection. All diapers are washed thoroughly and completely, including complete disinfection and sanitation. During routine inspection, if a diaper has received too much love (stains, consistency alterations, holes, etc), it will be pulled from circulation. While we make every effort to pull diapers as necessary, some may fall through cracks. Diapers that are pulled from circulation are then used as cotton clothes for other purposes.
-
Will my baby get diaper rash ?Both infants who wear cloth diapers and disposable diapers can get diaper rash. One of the best preventions for diaper rash is frequent diaper changes to ensure babies don't sit for too long in a wet or soiled diaper.

Benefits of cloth diaperingGood for your baby Disposable diapers contain harmful chemicals. These chemicals can irritate baby’s skin, causing diaper rash. Dioxin, a by-product of bleaching, is listed by the EPA as the most toxic carcinogen. Disposables also contain Tributyl-tin (TBT) which is a chemical known to cause hormonal problems in humans and animals. Good for the environment Disposable diapers generate sixty times more solid waste and use twenty times more raw materials to make than cloth diapers do. Yikes. Additionally, it’s estimated to take between 250 and 500 years for a single disposable diaper to break down in a landfill. Whereas cloth are used over and over before heading to the landfill, and they they take about 5 months to break down. You may even be able to compost old cloth diapers as long as they’re made from natural fiber such as cotton or wool. Good for you They’re cheaper! Cloth diapers cost more upfront but save you considerably in the long run. Disposables are more convenient sometimes but cloth is much more convenient at other times. For instance, you never have to run out to the store in bad weather or in the middle of the night to buy more!

Proper Diaper Use:Our rental diapers are to be used on babies only. Diapers found being used as cleaning rags or for other non-baby related uses will need to be removed from service due to the inability to remove chemicals or stains. If a diaper needs to be removed from service, you will be charged the replacement fees indicated above. Certain medications or diaper creams can cause untreatable stains that ruin rented diapers. Please notify us if your child's doctor has prescribed any medications or diaper rash creams. Please minimize the use of diaper creams containing Zinc Oxide without a reusable or disposable diaper liner (available at our store) as these can damage the diapers. Do not store soiled diapers in the heat (example: outside or in a garage during the summer) or in direct sunlight. This will cause unpleasant things to grow and may damage the diapers. Please shake off soiled diapers when possible and place in a diaper laundry bag. Please do not store diapers in sealed plastic. This also causes mold and mildew. Wet bags are provided with your service. If you damage a diaper, you will be billed for it.
